The Ham Radio Community is one of the best communities that I have ever had the privilege of being involved with. It is welcoming and encouraging, but sometimes you have to know the right place to look to find that sense of comradery and inclusiveness.
On January 1 of 2023, I am starting a new series of events (and videos) called Come POTA With Me!
Several times during the year, I will be traveling to various places and setting up a station for Parks On The Air, and during each of these times, I will be inviting everyone interested to join me. These events will be location based – sometimes I will be in Texas, sometimes elsewhere.

Our first event will be on New Year’s Day! On January 1, 2023, we will be activating Galveston Island State Park. Coming from I45 into Galveston, take 61st Street to the Seawall, then turn Right. Come West to 13-mile road and turn left. Follow that road to the beach and you will see cars with antennas!
